This virtual event provides a platform for clients to openly discuss their career journeys, seek advice, and address challenges they may be facing. These sessions foster a supportive community and aim to empower participants with valuable insights and guidance in their journey to finding meaningful employment.

For our December session, we are thrilled to welcome Mustafa Alio, Co-founder and Managing Director of Jumpstart Refugee Talent, and Co-Managing Director of R-SEAT (Refugees Seeking Equal Access at the Table). As a former refugee who successfully navigated the Canadian job market, Mustafa co-founded Jumpstart to address gaps in employment opportunities for refugees and immigrants. He will share his experiences overcoming obstacles and provide key insights into founding and running a successful nonprofit.

Mustafa will cover the challenges and opportunities newcomers face in the Canadian job market, including strategies to identify gaps, turn challenges into opportunities, and navigate the nonprofit space.
