Prince’s Island Park: 698 Eau Claire Ave SW

 

Close to downtown for a quick nature escape from the city.

Before it becomes a leisure skating circle for the Winter, walk the colourful paths around Bowness Park and by the Bow River.

 Confederation Park: 24 Avenue & 24 Street NW to 30 Avenue & 10 St NW

The aquatic vegetation in the park attracts plenty of wildlife to pass by.

Edworthy Park: South Access- Bow Trail & Spruce Drive SW. North Access- Shaganappi Trail and 16 Avenue

 

Walk the Edworthy Park Loop, it is 3.5 km and takes about an hour. You can pack a picnic, and enjoy the amenities the park has to offer.

Glenmore Reservoir: 5R7, 7305 Crowchild Trail SW

 

The Glenmore Reservoir and Dam are located on the Elbow River. It is a non-swimming area because it was constructed to provide Calgarians with a safe and sufficient supply of drinking water.
