Are you a newcomer to Canada facing barriers to employment?
Join us for a welcoming and supportive event designed to help you grow your job search skills, get expert feedback, and connect with others!
What to Expect:
– One-on-one resume feedback with experienced Job Coaches (15-minute sessions)
– A low-pressure space to practice networking and meet others
– Learn about Vecova’s Newcomer Program and how we can support your employment journey
– Visit community partners’ info tables to explore additional supports
Ongoing Activities:
– Tea & snacks
– Resume critiquing stations
– Networking area with volunteer support
– Conversation starter table – great for practicing small talk!
– Activity wall – share your experiences and questions about job searching in Canada
